Dyane O’Leary
A widely-respected professor, Dyane O’Leary leads Suffolk Law’s Legal Innovation & Technology concentration. After graduating summa cum laude from both Villanova University and Suffolk University Law School, Dyane remained in Boston where she worked as an attorney at WilmerHale, LLP and gained experience by practicing complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. She later returned to Suffolk University where she became an associate professor of Legal Writing. As an educator, Dyane fosters learning where legal tech intersects with legal research, writing, analysis. She was one of the first to include lessons on attorney-client communications via text, and she continues to integrate technology competence into Suffolk’s pioneering legal practice curriculum. She has published on topics such as artificial intelligence tools for legal research and writing, and Dyane has designed an advanced writing class to build skills in areas such as e-discovery, research analytics, word processing for lawyers, legal typography, and digital design of legal documents.
